Doggie Sweet Potato Chews

I have really been wanting to make these for awhile..but the fact that they take 3 hours to bake kinda scared me off...but now that its Fall..I'm definitely thinking sweet potatoes...so I woke up early today..cut them up, popped them in the oven & voila..by 10am I had a cookie sheet full of healthy doggie sweet potato chews! Some recipes call for cinnamon but i opted for just a bit of olive oil...
You will need:
2 sweet potatoes
1/2 tbs. olive oil

1- Preheat oven to 250 degrees
2- Cut Sweet potatoes up until 1/4 in pieces..I actually cut them up into all sizes..but this size is recommended.
3- Toss sweet potato pieces with olive oil
4- Lay them flat on an aluminum foil covered baking sheet.
-Bake for 3 hrs.

(I had to bake them a bit longer than this to get them chewier..but all ovens are different)

 Huckleberry & Madeleine love them!
& They tasted good to me..plus my house smells amazing from them!

xoxo,

  2. These look so good! Is it bad that for a second I thought they were dog treats because the title had the word "doggie" in? Hi my name is Carly and I am a dog owner. :)
