Girls Night In: Movie Night Edition

I thought I would start a new series on my blog called "Girls Night In"..where I give fabulous and fun ideas for a fun girls night in...where you can wear your yoga pants..uggs...your comfy sweatshirt a messy ponytail and fit right in...

This Friday me and 2 of my blogging pals are having a movie night...which is perfect because..

1. I'm a movie obsessed freak of nature
and
2. There will obviously be wine....or rather..I'll bring my own wine..and maybe even some popcorn..and chocolate...and who knows what else...

I thought this would call for an amazing round up of 10 of my all time favorite girls night in movies and a few fun links to recipes..perfect for a girls night

Top Ten Movies for Girls Night In
(in no particular order)

1.) Clueless -Obviously the ultimate classic

2.) Center Stage- I was/am obsessed with this movie...if you love dancing and kinda not so great acting..this movie is perfect for you!

3.) Coyote Ugly- Who wouldn't want to dance on a bar and spray water all over drunk people?

4.) Valley Girl- If you have never seen this...you are totally missing out on some V-shaped chest hair on a young Nicholas Cage...its actually one of my favorite movies...and totally 80's.

5.) Mean Girls- Did I mention these are not in numerical order...this is also one of my favorite movies of all time..which I know I am not the only one!

6.) 10 Things I Hate About You- Hands down..my favorite movie EVER..which is crazy because I am a movie fanatic..but I could watch this everyday and never get sick of it...Joseph Gordon Levitt & Heath Ledger..Yeaya!

7.) Working Girl- The hair in this movie alone gets it on this list..plus all the huge shoulder pads and blue eyeshadow

8.) Now and Then- I totally felt for Roberta (Christina Ricci) taping her boobs down...this movie is epic and always a good girls movie..plus, hello...teen heartthrob, Devon Sawa is in it!

9.) Easy A- "I hope you don't mind, but we had a few pre-cocktail party cocktails. Like, before the cocktail party. With cocktails."...gets me every time

10.) Romy and Michele's High School Reunion- Who could leave out this gem of a flick...Its got the music..the crazy style and not to mention...my own 10 year reunion is this summer and this movie gives me hope that a millionaire will swoop down in a helicopter and buy me my own clothing store in Beverly Hills....maybe??? haha....

What movies would you add to this collection?

For a few fun foodie/drinkie ideas..here are some links that would make perfect movie night additions.
