Upscale Junk & Antiques

I went on an adventure today, antiquing! I always love not knowing what I will find or discover...I love 50's/60's retro anything...the turquoise, pink & black is just my thing...I've done quite a bit of my house in this so I am always on the hunt for something to add to my decor....Today I went for the first time to "Upscale Junk & Antiques" in Cicero, Indiana...which is about 20 minutes from my house..so not a far drive..even if it was, it was definitely worth it....I found a treasure trove of lovely things...Of course, I wanted it all..so many fun items...a room full of turquoise fabulousness and tons of amazing chairs (did I mention I am obsessed with chairs?) If you haven't been there...please go..some items were a bit pricey..but there are booths within the store so there are different price ranges throughout....

I spotted a antique Kodak camera that I went home with..as well as a pretty butterfly print that was in a shabby chic blue frame that will be great somewhere in my house...Also, my client Jessica has a booth there called "Refurbish & Refinish"...She redoes furniture in fun bold colors and resells it...I loved it all...one of her turquoise chairs is in the pic above...as well as part of her booth.... You can check out her blog here ! (she is also an amazing interior designer)...Anyway...I scored some stuff that I am crazy happy about...I also popped over to the Westfield Antique Marketplace and got a stellar vintage teal AM radio....A super fun day and I will definitely be back to both stores SOON!

  5. Hey, girly! Just found your blog through the Sip Happens Party link up. I love that you went to upscale! A lady who goes to church with me said she has a space there and was telling me all about it, but I haven't gotten around to going yet (what with the frigid temps we have been having.) Your pics make the trip even more tempting.
